Product Description
The instrument is made as per the requirement of the Company Standard of Shanghai Q/YXYY15 “SYD-3536 Cleveland Open Cup Flash Point Tester”.

Product Specification/Models
1. Power supply: AC 220 V±10%, 50 Hz
2. Heating device: The instrument uses quartz tubular furnace for heating. No flame and anti-explosion. The heating power can be adjust from 0 to 400 W continuously.
3. Flame application device: the flame can be swept automatically.
4. Thermometer: -6～400 ℃, the graduation scale is 2 ℃. It is in accord with GB/514 “Technical Specification of thermometer used for Petroleum Products Test”.
5. Ignition device:
(1) Ignition source: coal gas
(2) Aperture of spout: 0.6～0.8 mm
6. Ambient temperature: -10 ℃～50 ℃

Application
The instrument is suitable to determine the flash point and fire point of petroleum products and asphalt, except the fuel oil and some petroleum products, the flash point of which is less than 79 ℃ as per the National Standard of China GB/T 3536 “Test methods for Flash and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Methods)”, Industry Standard of China JTJ058-T0611 “Asphalt Flash and Fire Point Test (Cleveland Open Cup Methods)” and T0633 “Liquid Asphalt Flash Point Test (Tag Open Cup Methods)”.

Other Information
The instrument is also suitable to determine the flash point and fire point of petroleum products and asphalt, except the fuel oil and some petroleum products, the flash point of which is less than 79 ℃ as per International Standard ISO 2592, ASTM D 92.
